I’m Tara Asadi and I’m an illustrator, a dreamer, and a visual storyteller in Metro Vancouver. My favorite creative adventures involve concept art, world-building, and character development. Storytelling weaves them together. I’m looking to be a part of teams building fantastical worlds in the realms of games and animation.

Experience

  • 3-day Game Jam, Quiver Games - Game Artist


    The goal of the game jam was to create a rough, functional game and pitch it in a 3-day time span. As one of two game artists, I collaborated with the team and the other game artist to create a visual direction for the game.

    I mainly did background design and promotional illustrative assets in 3 -days.

  • Capilano Courier - Illustrator


I have been a Courier Illustrator for the past year and a half, creating various works from spots to cover pieces. Each piece is carefully catered for the assigned article and the overall theme of the Courier for that month.

  • Webtoon Comic, Straylight Tiger - Rendering Assistant


    My main tasks for the comic are to add texture and make the lighting of each panel pop! This was alongside following the vision of the creator for how they stylized their comic.

  • Unannounced PC Game, Team Saikou - Production Artist/Visual Dev
